So what’s so special about white water rafting in Canada?
First of all Canada happens to be one of the few places in the American continent where you can still find vast areas of totally untouched and undeveloped land, forests, lakes and rivers etc.
The rivers and lakes of Canada have been extremely well preserved over the years and as a result do not suffer from the pollution that the rivers and lakes throughout the American continent are subject to. This is very good news for white water rafting enthusiasts.
Canada is a huge country being the second largest land mass on Earth! So unless you have a whole year to travel the country and experience all of it’s best white water rafting spots you are going to have to seriously think about what part of Canada you want to visit. When making this decision why not also take into consideration other activities you can participate in as well as white water rafting in Canada.
If you would also like to experience a little bit of Canadian culture you might want to consider visiting Quebec, Montreal, and Nova Scotia. If you would like to see the more cosmopolitan side of Canada Quebec and Montreal would be a good choice and they would also give you a chance to get a little bit of an idea of what France is like too, since this area of Canada has a lot of French traits.
On the other hand if while you are white water rafting in Canada you would like to see the more rural parts of Canada, you would do well to visit Nova Scotia. Around this area of Canada you will be able to contemplate vast areas of wild forest.
You might also want to see the Cabot Trail. The Cabot Trail is a long drive you can participate in through wired mountains and forests. You will be able to see a very wide range of wildlife, pretty much anything from Moose to dolphins!
If you are not already an experienced white water rafter, before you participate in white water rafting in Canada make sure you have a professional instructor in your group with you at all times.

Canada is one of the most beautiful places to go rafting in the world. B.C., the far North Territories, Ontario, etc.. are all hidden gems in my opinion. Good post.
